I just
found out last week that my book will be put on a charity’s recommended reading
list that works for children and adults who are deaf. My son was born
with deafness. This is a great boost for me to continue writing stories
for children. I would encourage parents of children
with special needs to reach out to charities that specialise in these
areas. I have found them to a method of support and hope in times of
adversity.
